The Ministry of Health, Labour (MHLW) announced today, 20 March, 2019 (under MHLW Ordinance No. 76 of 2019) the partial amendment of specifications and standards for foods, food additives (Act. No. 370 of 1959) for Acinonapyr, Acibenzolar-S-methyl, 1,3-Dichloropropene, Probenazole and Morantel based on Article 11, Paragraph 1 of the Food Sanitation Act (Act No. 233 of 1947) .

Applicable Date:

This amendment shall apply from the day of notice. However, for the below food listed for each agricultural chemical etc., existing standards can still be used within 6 months from the announcement of this notification.
