FoCusLabAsia originates from a combination of several keywords that forms the basis of my work.

"Fo" for "food", "Cos" (written as "Cus") for "cosmetics", "Lab" for "labelling" For Asia

I have been a regulatory compliance consultant 2008 and worked with companies from the US, Malaysia, Taiwan etc. to launch or import a wide variety of consumers products into target markets (specializing in Japan and Korea). I have dealt with various product categories such as food and beverage (Processed food, health supplements, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages), cosmetics and fragrances (make-up, skin care products, sunscreens, soaps and toiletries), essential oils (single oils and oil blends), general merchandise (kitchenware, bags and apparels, books, clothes, fashion accessories, manicure sets) and electrical appliances such as aromatherapy use diffusers and egg timers. I help my clients to better understand the regulatory requirements for their product launch from the product development stage (validating formulations) down to the label, packaging and marketing materials; without comprising their marketing strategies and company goals. My linguistic skills (English, Chinese, Japanese and Korean), enabled me to support my clients with not only regulatory compliance issues but also act as a communication bridge for my clients to reach out to the local authorities and their counterparts.
