The Ministry of Health, Labor (MHLW) announced on May 30, 2018 (Notification No. 530 No. 1) the partial amendment of Specifications And Standards for Foods, Food additives, etc. for the following chemicals, Cadusafos, Clethodim, Chlorantraniliprole, Desmedipham, Tricyclazole, Pyrifluquinazon, Flavophospholipol, Fluopicolide, Procymidone under MHLW Notification no 237.
Outline Of Revision
The Maximum Residue Level (MRLs) for Cadusafos, Clethodim, Chlorantraniliprole, Desmedipham, Tricyclazole, Pyrifluquinazon, Flavophospholipol, Fluopicolide, Procymidone have been revised based on the provisions of Article 11, paragraph 1 of the Food Sanitation Act (Act No. 233 of 1947).
Applicable Date:
This amendment shall apply from the day of notice. However, for the below food listed for each agricultural chemical etc., existing standards can still be used withing 6 months from the annoucement of this notification.
