[1225 No. 8] Japan | Partial Revision of Analytical Methods For Substances That Are Ingredients Of P

The Ministry of Health, Labor (MHLW) announced on Dec 25, 2017 (Notification No. 1225 No. 8) that they will be partially revising the analytical methods (stipulated under Notification No. 01240001 of Jan 24, 2005) for substances that are ingredients of pesticides, feed additives or veterinary drugs remaining in food.

Outline Of Revision


The analytical methods for substances that are ingredients of pesticides, feed additives or veterinary drugs remaining in food shall be revised as per the underlined text in appendix 1 (別紙1), and the following analytical methods has been added (Please see Appendix 2~6) of Notification No. 1225 No. 8.


· Avilamycin analytical method (livestock products) · Carboxin test method (agricultural products) · Norflurazon test method (agricultural products) · Fenthion test method (agricultural products) · Fenthion test method (livestock and fishery product)
