[平成29年7月19日薬生食基発0719第1号]食品、添加物等の規格基準に定められた食品に残留する農薬等の試験法における留意事項について


Partial Revision of the Specifications and Standards of Foods, Food additives etc., (MHLW Notification No. 252, 2017) was promulgated today. Here, we here by notify you the cautionary notes when conducting analytical tests as per the appendix.


Cautionary Notes For Analytical Method (Food to be analyzed: In the case of livestock products)

1. Melengestrol Acetate Analytical Method

1) Outline of Analytical Method

Melengestrol Acetate is to be extracted from the sample under acetic acid, acidic condition, in the presence of n-hexane and anhydrous sodium sulfate, extracted with Acetonitrile, After purification with Octadecylsilylated silica gel mini-column, quantified and confirmed using liquid chromatography / tandem mass spectrometer (LC-MS / MS).

2) Issues to Note:

① The ions used in analytical development during LC-MS / MS measurement of Melengestrol Acetate is are shown as per below:

Quantitative ion (m / z): Precursor ion 397, product ion 279 Qualitative ion (m / z): Precursor ion 397, product ion 337

② Food examined during development of analytical method: cattle muscle, cattle fat, cattle liver, cattle kidney and pig muscles
